Pinli vs Linktree at a glance
Linktree is a well-known way to collect destinations under one profile URL. Its current offer also includes analytics, audience capture, social tools, and creator monetization. Pinli takes a page-first approach: arrange different kinds of content in a visual grid, then add the plan or industry pack that fits your work.
Neither is the best choice for everyone. Linktree has a broader established creator-marketing toolkit. Pinli offers a more flexible block layout, a separate desktop and phone arrangement, and a lower-cost path to a custom domain on Pro. Pinli does not currently offer a perpetual free plan or live native product checkout. Those differences matter more than a generic winner badge.
| Pinli | Linktree | |
|---|---|---|
| Main focus | Visual page builder for creators and small businesses | Link-in-bio profile plus creator growth and earning tools |
| Free plan | No perpetual free plan. Solo starts at $3/month. Pro and Studio have a 7-day trial. | Free plan available, with restrictions |
| Custom domain | Available on Pro and Studio | Linktree says pages use linktr.ee/username; its Help Center says custom domains are not supported |
| Page layout | Resizable blocks, with independent desktop and phone layouts | Themes, templates, and customizable link and content layouts |
| Selling | Native Shop and payment-dependent blocks are marked coming soon | Direct products and courses, affiliate and sponsored earning options; fees and eligibility depend on plan and feature |
| Good fit when | The page itself should show and organize your work | You want a familiar creator profile and Linktree's broader social, audience, and earning tools |
How the products differ
Linktree is more than a list of links
Linktree's current pricing page describes unlimited basic links on Free, paid customization and analytics, digital product and course selling, affiliate opportunities, social scheduling, and Instagram auto-replies. Its Help Center feature overview also documents richer themes, featured layouts, analytics history, and plan-based tools. Linktree has contact forms and email signups, with audience integrations such as Kit and Klaviyo described in its contact form guide and integration guide.
That makes Linktree a reasonable choice if you already use its tools or want one familiar profile tied to creator marketing and monetization. Its support for sales does not mean every feature is available in every country or plan. Product fees and third-party processing fees also differ by transaction type.
Pinli starts with the shape of the page
Pinli pages use resizable content blocks rather than treating every destination as the same link row. You can arrange links alongside images, video, music, posts, contact and newsletter capture, events, bookings, maps, reviews, and other blocks. Some advanced blocks require Pro, Studio, or a specific industry pack. The block grid has a separate arrangement for desktop and phone, so you can tune how each screen presents the page.
For a creator, this could mean placing a release, portfolio, booking option, and press kit in a clear order. For a studio or local business, it could mean bringing services, location, hours, and contact details into one page. See Pinli for creators, Pinli for small business, and the visual link-in-bio overview for examples of the intended use.
There is a real limitation to keep in view: Pinli's Shop pack and its payment-dependent product, shoppable, tip jar, download, and donation blocks are marked coming soon. Pinli currently helps you present work and connect visitors to destinations; do not choose it today expecting the native product checkout that Linktree advertises.

Pricing and selling costs
Pinli plans
Pinli's current catalog is paid. Prices are USD; yearly plans are charged once per year. The monthly equivalent is shown to make the annual price easier to compare, but it is not billed monthly.
| Plan | Monthly billing | Yearly charge | Main limits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solo | $3/month | $30/year ($2.50/month equivalent) | 1 page, 30-day analytics history, essential blocks |
| Pro | $9/month | $90/year ($7.50/month equivalent) | 5 pages, 365-day analytics, custom domain, premium blocks, branding removal, CSV analytics export |
| Studio | $36/month | $360/year ($30/month equivalent) | 50 pages, 730-day analytics, custom CSS, all industry packs |
Pro and Studio are eligible for a 7-day trial; Solo is paid from day one. Industry packs cost $3/month or $30/year each on a compatible plan, while Studio includes all packs. The Shop pack is coming soon. See Pinli pricing for current billing details.
Linktree plans and transaction fees
Linktree's US pricing page currently lists a permanent Free tier, then Starter at $8 month-to-month or $6/month billed annually, Pro at $15 or $12/month billed annually, and Premium at $35 or $30/month billed annually. Annual prices are paid upfront. Linktree markets a 7-day trial for Pro and Premium. Confirm the live plan toggle and eligibility before purchasing because prices and product availability may change.
| Linktree plan | Monthly billing | Annual billing | Direct digital product/course platform fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 12% |
| Starter | $8/month | $72/year ($6/month equivalent) | 9% |
| Pro | $15/month | $144/year ($12/month equivalent) | 9% |
| Premium | $35/month | $360/year ($30/month equivalent) | 0% |
These are Linktree fees, not total payment costs. Its fee guide says Stripe processing, usually listed there as 2.9% plus $0.30 per purchase, still applies to direct products at every tier. Shops and partner earnings use different fee rules; Shops and Sponsored Links are limited to eligible US users. Compare the specific feature and sale type you expect to use, not simply the subscription prices.
Which one should you choose?
Choose Linktree if
- You want a free starting tier and can work within its restrictions.
- You want an established link-in-bio product with social scheduling, email capture, creator monetization, and a mobile app.
- Linktree's commerce tools, eligible integrations, or familiar URL are already part of how you work.
- You are comfortable using a Linktree-branded URL and reviewing plan-specific selling fees.
Choose Pinli if
- A visually arranged page matters more than collecting links in a familiar profile format.
- You want different block sizes, desktop and phone layouts, or page structure suited to a specific kind of work.
- You need a verified custom domain, longer analytics history, or focused capabilities through an industry pack.
- You can work without a perpetual free plan and do not need Pinli's native checkout today.

Switching from Linktree to Pinli
Pinli can import supported public links from a Linktree handle. The import creates Pinli link blocks from public links; it does not recreate your Linktree design, account settings, analytics history, contact list, or every specialized Linktree block. Review the imported page before sharing it, then add the images, context, or other blocks that make the new page useful.
Before changing the URL in social profiles, keep your existing Linktree available while you check the new page on a phone and desktop, test every destination, and confirm your custom domain if your Pinli plan uses one. If you use Linktree's products, courses, email workflows, or social automations, plan those separately because Pinli's native Shop blocks are not live yet.
Frequently asked questions
Is Pinli free like Linktree?
No. Pinli does not currently have a perpetual free plan. Solo starts at $3/month, with a 7-day trial available on Pro and Studio. Linktree has a $0 Free plan with restrictions. See the current Pinli pricing and Linktree pricing.
Can Linktree sell products?
Yes. Linktree currently offers direct digital product and course sales, plus other earning features. Platform transaction fees depend on plan and product type, and payment processing fees may also apply. Eligibility varies by country and feature.
Does Pinli support a custom domain?
Yes. Pinli supports verified custom domains on Pro and Studio. Linktree's Help Center currently says custom domains cannot replace a Linktree URL; because that help page was last dated 2024, verify the current policy before making a final choice.
Can I move my Linktree links to Pinli?
Pinli can import supported links from a public Linktree handle into link blocks. This is a partial link import, not a full design or account migration.
Does Pinli include a storefront?
Pinli's Shop pack and payment-dependent sales blocks are marked coming soon. If native product checkout is essential today, compare Linktree's current eligible selling features or another active commerce tool before switching.
A practical verdict
Choose based on the work you need the page to do. Linktree is a stronger fit when you want a familiar creator profile plus its available audience, social, and earning tools. Pinli is a stronger fit when the page itself should be more visual and structured, with layouts and industry-specific blocks that grow around your work. Pinli's current tradeoffs are clear: no perpetual free plan and no live native product checkout. Linktree's tradeoffs include plan and country limits, platform fees on many sales, and a URL that its current help page says cannot use your own domain.
