The short answer
Taplink and Pinli both turn a profile link into a small destination where people can learn about you, browse links, and take an action. Their emphasis differs. Taplink is built around social traffic and can grow from a link-in-bio page into a multi-page landing page with forms, a CRM, payment options, and digital products on its Business plan. Pinli is built around a visual, resizable block grid with independent desktop and phone layouts, plus reporting for views, clicks, referrers, and campaigns.
Choose Taplink if your page needs built-in lead workflows, digital-product sales, or several connected internal pages. Choose Pinli if you want more control over how a visual page is arranged on a phone and desktop, and want page analytics alongside a single-page profile. Pinli’s native Shop pack and payment-dependent blocks are still marked coming soon, so Pinli is not currently a like-for-like replacement for Taplink’s described checkout and digital-product workflow.
This comparison uses Taplink’s English product and pricing pages and Pinli’s current plan catalog as checked on September 24, 2026. Taplink’s .cc homepage links into its English product site at .at; its .cc pricing path was unavailable during research. The current plan details below therefore cite the linked .at site, rather than assuming that every .cc page redirects there. (Taplink.cc homepage, Taplink English homepage, Taplink pricing)

Pinli plan prices and page limits are shown on the Pinli pricing page. Taplink’s official explainer lists U.S. annual-equivalent prices of $4/month for Pro ($48/year) and $8/month for Business ($96/year); its pricing FAQ says paid plans have a three-month minimum, and discounts apply to six- or twelve-month prepayment. Check the live localized checkout for the exact amount before purchase. (Taplink product and pricing explainer, Taplink pricing FAQ)
The practical difference: a landing page system or a visual grid
Taplink describes itself as both a link-in-bio tool and a landing page builder. Its current English site presents use cases for services, creators, stores, and individuals, and lists content such as links, text, photos, video, music, forms, maps, FAQ, timers, and digital products. On Business, internal pages let a profile expand beyond one scrolling page. The product explainer says a site can contain up to 512 pages, although that limit should be reconfirmed in current help documentation before relying on it for a large site. (Taplink English homepage, Taplink product explainer)
Pinli is intentionally a compact visual page. You place blocks on a resizable board and can arrange the desktop and phone versions separately. That makes it possible to give a release, booking action, video, newsletter, or selected work its own visual weight rather than presenting every destination as the same style of button. Explore Pinli’s visual link-in-bio page and creator page examples to see how that format can support different needs.
The difference matters if visitors need multiple levels of navigation. Taplink’s internal pages are more suited to a compact website with separate service or product sections. Pinli’s page count depends on the plan, and its editor is centered on one-page experiences rather than a nested website. On the other hand, the separate phone layout in Pinli offers more direct control over the sequence and size of mobile content. Taplink calls its pages mobile-friendly and says they can be created from a smartphone or computer, but the pages reviewed do not document an equivalent separate desktop-versus-phone composition control. (Taplink English homepage)
Pricing and what the plans unlock
Taplink’s Basic plan is permanently free. Its plan grid lists pre-designed themes, custom design, unlimited links, text and custom blocks, messaging and social links, maps, page-view statistics, shared access, and a QR code. Pro adds professional templates, media, price lists, custom HTML, social media pixels, scheduled blocks, and click analytics. Business adds internal pages, digital products, application forms, payment acceptance, CRM, automated emails and notifications, removal of Taplink branding, a countdown timer, a custom domain, and SSL. (Taplink English plan grid, Taplink plan FAQ)
Taplink’s pricing details need a little care. The official product explainer’s table says prices are U.S. annual billing equivalents: $4/month for Pro and $8/month for Business. Its live pricing FAQ describes a minimum three-month purchase and 30% off for six months or 50% off for twelve months. Currency, regional billing and displayed offers can vary, so use the current checkout rather than assuming an annual equivalent is the amount charged each month. The reviewed public sources do not detail payment-provider charges or taxes. (Taplink product and pricing explainer, Taplink pricing)
Pinli has three paid plans in its current catalog: Solo is $3 monthly or $30 charged yearly, Pro is $9 monthly or $90 yearly, and Studio is $36 monthly or $360 yearly. On an annual plan those equal $2.50, $7.50, and $30 per month, respectively. The catalog limits published pages to 1, 5, or 50 by plan. Pro and Studio are eligible for a 7-day trial; Solo is paid from day one. There is no perpetual free Pinli plan. See current Pinli plan details.
Pinli Pro adds premium blocks and design, verified custom domains, platform-specific pages, branding removal, password protection, third-party analytics pixels, and CSV analytics export. Studio adds custom CSS and all industry packs. Pack add-ons cost $3/month or $30/year on a compatible plan; Studio includes the packs. The Shop pack is marked coming soon. As a result, do not read Pinli’s future-facing storefront language or block catalog as proof that native product checkout is currently available.
For a low-cost free starting point, Taplink has the advantage because Basic is permanently free and already includes unlimited links and page views. For predictable annual pricing and a visual editor focused on page presentation, Pinli has clearly stated USD plan costs and page limits. Which one costs less depends on the plan, billing term, and the features you need. Compare the limits as well as the headline price.
Forms, payments, and audience capture
Taplink has the stronger built-in commerce feature set in the sources reviewed. Its Business plan advertises application forms, payments, lead and payment notifications, a CRM, automated email, and digital products. Taplink’s product explainer says it supports more than 60 payment processors, names PayPal, Stripe, Revolut and local providers, and says it does not take a commission on digital-product sales. That statement concerns Taplink’s commission; it does not establish that payment providers charge no processing fees. Confirm the provider list, supported country, and final fees for your account before choosing a checkout flow. (Taplink plan grid, Taplink product explainer)
Pinli can collect newsletter signups and contact inquiries, and it stores subscriber records in its Audience area. It is not a full email campaign platform. More importantly for sellers, Pinli’s Shop pack and payment-dependent blocks are marked coming soon. Pinli billing supports its own subscription and add-on checkout, but that is separate from accepting payment for the page owner’s product. If immediate native sales, tips, donations, or digital downloads are essential, Taplink currently documents more of that workflow than Pinli does.
If the main goal is an inquiry rather than a transaction, either tool may work. Taplink’s official feature list places application forms on Business and describes lead notifications and CRM. Pinli’s contact and newsletter blocks can help capture interest, while industry packs add specialized workflows; availability depends on the plan and pack. Pinli should be described as a way to present and collect audience interest, not as a replacement for a complete customer-management or email-marketing suite.
Domains, analytics, and search details
Taplink lists a custom domain and its SSL certificate on Business. Its official product explainer says the certificate is generated without extra charge. Taplink also lists page views on Basic and click analytics on Pro. The product explainer describes tracking page views, link clicks, and conversions, with Google Analytics available for advanced tracking. Since the plan grid does not map every analytics metric to a specific tier, verify the exact reporting features in the current account before selecting a plan. (Taplink plan grid, Taplink product explainer)
Pinli’s custom domains require a verified domain on Pro or Studio. Its analytics report views, clicks, referrers and campaign information, with 30 days of history on Solo, 365 days on Pro and 730 days on Studio. CSV export is available on Pro and Studio. Pinli also provides page title and description overrides, a generated share image, optional noindex settings, and profile JSON-LD. Those controls give you ways to describe a page to search and social systems, but they do not guarantee indexing or rankings. See Pinli pricing and Pinli’s link-in-bio guide.
Taplink’s official explainer says page titles and meta descriptions can be configured in page settings. The sources reviewed support those metadata controls, but do not establish broader controls such as canonical tags or structured data. A page builder does not replace good page content, clear headings, or a relevant domain; compare the actual controls that matter to your setup rather than treating “SEO” as one feature checkbox.
Which tool should you choose?
Taplink is a stronger fit when
- You need a free plan for a simple link page.
- Your page needs built-in application forms, a CRM, email or order notifications, or internal pages.
- You sell digital products or need a choice of payment providers, and have verified that your preferred provider is supported in your region.
- Your page is a small business landing page with multiple service or product sections rather than a visual one-page portfolio.
Pinli is a stronger fit when
- How the page looks and reads on a phone is central to the experience.
- You want a visual grid where blocks can have different sizes and visual priority.
- You need reporting for clicks, referrers and campaigns with a defined analytics history by plan.
- You want one focused page for a creator, artist, service, or small business and do not need native product checkout today.
Neither choice is universally better. A Taplink Business page has more documented built-in sales and multi-page features. Pinli has more explicit per-device layout control in its product model and a clear paid-plan analytics structure. Match the product to the work your page must do now, and account for the limits above.
Moving from Taplink to Pinli
Treat a move as a rebuild of the public destination, not an automatic import of your complete Taplink account. Pinli’s documented link import supports importing links from a public Linktree handle; it is not a full Taplink design, form, customer or analytics migration. Save your existing copy, images, domain settings, form destinations, and any product information before rebuilding. Then arrange the blocks for both screen layouts, check each outbound destination, and update your social profile link only after the Pinli page is ready.
If your Taplink page sells products or gathers orders, plan a replacement checkout and lead-handling workflow before changing the public link. Pinli’s native Shop/payment blocks are still marked coming soon, so you may need to keep an external store or payment destination linked from Pinli. If your business relies on Taplink’s internal pages, decide how those sections will map to Pinli pages or to an existing website. Keep the old link active until you have checked the new page on a phone and confirmed the domain, analytics, forms, and key calls to action.
